Yoshiko Hida began her tap dance training age age 6 and she also studied jazz dance and playing the electric organ.

She was inspired to focus on tap dancing when she saw 2001 Japanese production of "Bring in Da Noise, Bring in da Funk" when she was 18 years old.

In 2002, she participated in the inaugural LA Tap Festival. In 2004 she traveled to the United States to work with many of the top tap dancers in New York City.

After she returned to Japan she studied with some of the best tap dancers including SUJI, Ronll, 8kiko Misumi, and others. She participated in the Taipei Tap Festival in 2008 and the Hong Kong Tap Festival in 2011. Today she works with SUJI and Shoko Taniguchi.
