The first edition of the Sonoros Tap Festival in Rio de Janeiro featured workshops, documentary films, and discussions with tap dancing professionals.

The documentary film screened in 2019 was "OBS" a film that tells the story of tap dancing in Brazil and Rio de Janeiro, through the Company of Tap Dance Orquestra Brasileira de Sapateado.
