The Fair Inc., doing business as "Dancing Fair", is a second generation family business based in Roseville, Minnesota in the United States.

The company was founded in 1955 by Theodore Schroepfer as a department store selling orthotic shoes, dance apparel, and other family apparel. Schroepfer used his orthopedic expertise to make comfortable shoes for dancers and he would customize any shoe to meet a dancer’s needs.

Schroepfer closed his department store in 1988 and opened a wholesale dance and theatrical shoe company. The business was originally a one man operation but it evolved over the years into a full-service manufacturer and distributor of dancing shoes, legwear, bodywear, orthothics and dancing accessories. It also evolved from primarily serving local dance studios to a worldwide distributor of its own products and the products of strategic dancing supply partners. expanding our customer base selling to professional dancers, dance companies, theaters and dance and theatrical production companies.
