About the Montpellier Tap Festival

General information about the Montpellier Tap Festival in France, a celebration of tap dancing held every two years at the Agora International City of Dance inthe Montpellier area of France. The event is presented by the Claquettes en Vogue Association and it was held for the first time in 2003.

International dance academy situated inside a historic building constructed in 1641 known as "Couvent des Ursulines" (Ursuline Convent). The structure has been used in the past as a convent, a women's prison, and a military barracks.
