projects, activities, and adventures in Cuba.
Max Pollak has been practicing and performing in Cuba since 1998. He is the founder of Cuba's first tap dancing festival. He has worked with Cuban rumba and folkloric group Los Muñequitos de Matanzas, Cuban pianist and bandleader Chucho Valdés, saxophone and clarinet player Paquito D'Rivera, Slide Hampton and Panamanian pianist and composer Danilo Perez Mexican singer Lila Downs, and U.S. jazz musicians Ray Brown (1926-2002), and Phil Woods (1931-2015).
